Yesterday at the amphitheater of the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “Sveti Nikole, was ceremoniously celebrated Maslenitsa, Russian Day of forgiveness. The event, attended by about 500 citizens from several cities in Macedonia, was organized by ISU, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Macedonia and the Association of the Friends of Macedonian-Russian Friendship.
On this day, the spring is celebrated, played and sung, and the symbolic burning of the straw doll is foretold. This year, International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “with a convenient cultural-artistic program marked the Maslenitsa, in the presence of numerous guests, friends and close associates.
