In the amphitheater of the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “in Sveti Nikole, ceremoniously was celebrated Maslenitsa – Russian day of forgiveness.
The event, attended by about 400 citizens from several cities in Macedonia, was organized by our University, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Macedonia and the Association of the Friends of Macedonian-Russian Friendship.
The Russian vocal ensemble “Chyka”, participants from the international contest “Романсиада 2015” in Moscow and the dance group Life Vital – Skopje performed at the celebration.
Traditionally a straw doll was lit, and then all the guests were honored with pancakes cooked in Russian way.
