4 August 2026International Slavic University participated in international higher education fairs held on July 30 in Bursa and on August 1 and 2 in Istanbul, organized by Tercih Fuarcılık in cooperation with EM Consulting.
Numerous public and private universities from Europe and around the world took part in the fairs, while thousands of high school graduates, prospective students, and members of their families had the opportunity to learn more about the study programs, admission requirements, and study opportunities offered by higher education institutions.
International Slavic University was represented by its General Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Martin Gjorgjiev, who held numerous meetings and discussions with prospective students, parents, and representatives of higher education institutions.
During the fair in Istanbul, the General Secretary met with the Rector of Istanbul Rumeli University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara, as well as the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yiğit Şakar. During the meeting, they exchanged views on opportunities to establish and further develop academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
Throughout the fairs, significant interest was shown in the study programs offered by International Slavic University. Visitors were particularly interested in the individual approach to students, the mentoring system, practical teaching, as well as opportunities for international academic cooperation and mobility.
These opportunities are among the main advantages of International Slavic University and enable students to gain quality education, practical knowledge, and international experience during their studies.
By participating in the international fairs in Bursa and Istanbul, International Slavic University continues to actively promote its study programs, establish new academic contacts, and strengthen its international recognition and cooperation.
