On December 26, 2025, the Borka Taleski Public City Library in Prilep celebrated a major milestone—its 80th anniversary, marking eight decades of dedicated service to books, knowledge, and the cultural development of the community.

The anniversary was commemorated with a special ceremony highlighting the library’s achievements, its role in educational and cultural life, and the importance of institutional cooperation and support.

International Slavic University received a Certificate of Appreciation for its significant contribution to the library’s operation and development. The recognition was awarded for the University’s donation of 100 books, which substantially enriched the library’s collection and are now available to readers of all generations.

International Slavic University once again reaffirmed its mission and social responsibility by supporting culture, education, and the promotion of reading. Through this contribution, the University continues to strengthen ties between educational and cultural institutions and foster a love of books among the wider public.
