Professor Janko Bacev presented his research paper “Several options for using our constitutional name in the United Nations” at the International Scientific Conference held in Ohrid from 3 to 5 June 2014 on “Macedonia and the Balkans 100 Years of World War I – Security and Euro-Atlantic integration “. The central issue in the paper is the processing of the international legal mechanisms available to the Republic of Macedonia for the use of the constitutional name through the four main organs of the UN: the Secretariat, the Security Council, the General Assembly and the International Court of Justice. The work of this international conference is attended by representatives from Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Macedonia working in six panels. The conclusions that will arise from this meeting will be communicated to the relevant institutions.
