International Slavic University actively participated in the inaugural conference dedicated to the international Forest Fire Struga (FFS) project. Organized by the Protection and Rescue Directorate, the conference was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Skopje.

The University was represented by its Rector, Prof. Vasko Stamevski, PhD, who emphasized the important role of the academic community in supporting initiatives of this kind. He also highlighted International Slavic University’s commitment to serving as an active driver of knowledge, cooperation, and social responsibility within international projects.

The Forest Fire Struga project brought together partners from several European countries, creating opportunities to strengthen regional cooperation and exchange experience and best practices in the field.
