International Slavic University will have a significant presence in Davos during the World Economic Forum 2026, through participation in several prestigious international events that open the global debate on the future of leadership, education, and equality.

On January 22, 2026, Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev, founder and President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Board, will be speakers at the exclusive #WINLounge – an international platform curated by Women Inspiring Network, which brings together leading global voices on women’s leadership, innovation, and sustainable development.

The event will take place at the Schatzalp Hotel in Davos, during the World Economic Forum. International Slavic University’s participation is part of its long-term partnership with Women Inspiring Network, with whom the university has already collaborated on global events in Davos, New York, and Cannes.

Prof. Dr. Gjorcev will join a panel alongside prominent figures from the international stage, including:

• Silvana Koch-Mehrin – Former Vice President of the European Parliament
• Ayesha Javed – Editor at TIME magazine, USA
• Wendy Diamond – Founder of LDP Ventures and an influential voice in women’s entrepreneurship

In parallel, Mihaela Gjorcheva will once again be an official delegate at the World Woman Davos Agenda, a platform that supports the vision of global progress through equal participation and leadership of women in society.

As part of its engagement in Davos, International Slavic University will participate in over 10 strategic events, focusing on education, innovation, sustainable growth, and leadership in the new global context.
