International Slavic University and the Association for the Full Development and Emancipation of Turks from the Eastern Part of SRM – EM Establish New Cooperation
On July 3, 2025, a new collaboration was formalized at the International Slavic University through the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the University and the Association for the Full Development and Emancipation of Turks from the Eastern Part of SRM – EM, based in Shtip. The agreement was signed on behalf of the International Slavic University by Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board, and on behalf of the Association by its President, MSc. Seyat Ali, MA.
This initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening intercultural cooperation, opening new opportunities for young people from the Turkish community in the eastern part of the country. As part of the agreement, the International Slavic University will offer access to modern study programmes for interested candidates from the association, and notably, two scholarships will be awarded to two students selected through the association. This collaboration reinforces the University’s commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment and supporting youth from diverse communities in building a knowledge-based, respectful, and cooperative society.
The event was also attended by Aysima Ceylan, an Erasmus+ student from Turkey who is currently completing her internship at the International Slavic University. Her presence added a personal and international perspective to the meeting, highlighting the value of such collaborations.
The International Slavic University continues to actively build a network of partnerships that transcend borders and open new horizons for the future of its students.
