
Days of Psychology in Veles: A Focus on Emotional Intelligence and Family Communication

16 December 2025On December 13, 2025, another successful event in the “Days of Psychology” series, organized by International Slavic University, was held in the warm and inspiring atmosphere of Kinoversum Skopje. The event explored a topic of great importance in contemporary life—the psychological perspectives on love, loss, and the process of forgiveness.
The event attracted considerable interest and was attended by numerous students, faculty members, and experts in psychology and related professions. The program began with a screening of the film No Regrets, which served as an introduction to the discussion on the psychological aspects of romantic relationships, coping with loss, and the importance of forgiveness from the perspective of personal and interpersonal development.




Following the screening, a panel discussion was held featuring distinguished experts in the field:
- Vesna Aleksoska – Professor and psychologist
- Violeta Georgievska – Psychologist and systemic family psychotherapist
- Mirjana Jovanovska Stojanovska – Professor and psychodrama psychotherapist
- Diana Belevska – Professor and licensed psychologist
- Vera Dimovska – Gestalt therapist and founder of Anima – Center for Personal Development, Education, and Psychotherapy
- Moderator: Slagjana Angelkoska
The discussion explored how psychological processes affect romantic relationships, how people cope with emotional loss, and how forgiveness can influence mental health. The event created space for in-depth analysis and the exchange of new perspectives relevant at both the individual and societal levels.




The “Days of Psychology” series will conclude with a final event in Sveti Nikole. The closing event will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Kinoversum Sveti Nikole. It will feature new topics, distinguished speakers, and interactive activities centered on “Between Emotions and Ethics: Challenges in the Psychologist’s Workplace.”
