To mark the European Day of Justice, students from the Faculty of Law at International Slavic University participated in an educational visit to the Basic Court in Sveti Nikole.

The European Day of Justice is observed annually on October 25 to bring justice closer to citizens and raise public awareness of its role in society. The students had an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the court’s operations and key aspects of the justice system—from family and inheritance law to criminal and contract law—as well as topics related to access to justice, mediation, and the enforcement of court decisions.

The visit was organized and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Elizabeta Spiroska and Assistant Dr. Elena Stojanova Zlateva, who actively engaged the students in the learning process through direct observation and discussion.

Practical instruction provides students with valuable experience and professional preparation, offering insight into the real-world operation of the justice system and an opportunity to connect their theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects of law.
