Today, International Slavic University welcomed distinguished guests who actively contribute to the development of protection, rescue, and volunteer systems at the international level. The University hosted Fadime Özbey, Head of the Education Department at the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate in Antalya, Republic of Türkiye; Aki Mehmedov Kisyov, representative of the National Association of Volunteers in the Republic of Bulgaria; and Dejan Spasevski, Advisor in the Operational Logistics Sector at the Protection and Rescue Directorate of the Republic of North Macedonia. The visit took place as part of the STRO-VOL project—Strengthening Volunteer Systems and Capacities.

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Prof. Vasko Stamevski, Rector of the University. This cooperation is particularly significant because it is closely connected to the activities of the Faculty of Technical Sciences and Computer Science, especially the Occupational Safety and Fire Safety study programs, which focus on educating professionals in the fields of protection, prevention, and risk management.

The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening international cooperation. Numerous joint activities, projects, and initiatives are expected in the coming period, contributing to the advancement of knowledge, practical skills, and institutional capacities in the fields of safety and crisis management.
