
Academic Cooperation Protocol Signed Between International Slavic University and Medical University–Sofia

19 March 2026On March 16, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed between International Slavic University and the National Institution Institute and Museum–Shtip at the University’s premises in Sveti Nikole. The agreement was signed by Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Marija Prichkova Miteva, Acting Director of the National Institution Institute and Museum–Shtip.
Through this agreement, the two institutions established cooperation focused on developing educational, scientific, and cultural activities, as well as enhancing students’ practical knowledge and experience. The agreement provides ISU students with benefits when visiting museum exhibitions and cultural and historical sites managed by the Institute and Museum–Shtip, as well as opportunities to participate in cultural and educational events.

The cooperation agreement enables students of International Slavic University to complete practical training at the Institute and Museum–Shtip, allowing them to acquire practical knowledge and experience related to cultural heritage, museum work, and related fields. It also provides for professionally guided educational visits to cultural and historical sites managed by the institution.

The agreement also includes opportunities to organize joint educational activities, develop professional and institutional cooperation between the two institutions, and provide mutual benefits and support in organizing events and other activities.
This cooperation creates new opportunities to strengthen the relationship between the academic community and institutions working in culture and cultural heritage protection. It will also enrich the educational process through practical experience and joint initiatives.
