International Slavic University Participates in an Event Marking the International Day of the Roma Community
9 April 2026International Slavic University successfully organized an expert lecture titled “Psychosocial Aspects of Oncological Diseases,” held on April 8, 2026, at the University’s premises in Sveti Nikole.
The lecture was delivered by Rosita Andonova, MA, a psychologist and psychotherapist at Gevgelija General Hospital. Drawing on her extensive practical experience, she presented relevant insights, practical approaches, and professional guidance for working with people affected by cancer. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about contemporary approaches to psychosocial support and the importance of integrated care in cancer treatment.
The event was held as part of the global initiative marking World Psycho-Oncology Day 2026, supported by the International Psycho-Oncology Society. Through its participation, International Slavic University actively contributed to international efforts to promote education and raise awareness in this important field.
