International Slavic University in Sveti Nikole hosted the public forum “Stopping Violence and Promoting Prevention in the Community,” organized by IPOS – the International Police Organization for Security. By hosting the event, the University reaffirmed its active role in supporting socially significant initiatives and opening discussions on important issues related to community safety and prevention.

The event was held at the University on May 9, 2026, bringing together experts, professors, and public figures. Through their presentations and discussions, they contributed to raising public awareness about the importance of prevention and institutional cooperation in combating violence.

The speakers included:

• Bobi Bojchevski, MA, President of the Independent Trade Union of Healthcare Workers
• Professor Pavle Trpeski, PhD, European University
• Sotir Kostov, branding expert, analyst, and former municipal public prosecutor
• Professor Slagjana Angjelkoska, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at ISU

During the official opening, IPOS presented a plaque and certificate of appreciation to Professor Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, in recognition of his support and contribution to the organization of this important event.
