Today, a cooperation agreement was signed between International Slavic University and the Macedonian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce at the University’s premises in Sveti Nikole, formally laying the foundation for long-term strategic and institutional cooperation between academia and the business sector.

By signing this memorandum, the two institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing higher education through the practical application of knowledge, developing human capital in line with the needs of the modern economy, and promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation.

The cooperation aims to strengthen economic and educational ties, support the internationalization of companies and educational programs, and create new opportunities for internships, professional development, and student networking.

Under the agreement, the institutions will organize joint conferences, business forums, academic debates, workshops, and other initiatives focused on exchanging knowledge, experiences, and professional opportunities.

The agreement was signed by Biljana Miteva, MA, President of the Macedonian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, and Professor Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University.

Assistant Professor Martin Gjorgjiev, PhD, Secretary General of International Slavic University, also attended the meeting. Biljana Miteva is also a member of the Quality Council of International Slavic University, providing an additional link for enhancing the University’s quality, practical orientation, and international connections.

The signing of this agreement represents an important step toward creating a modern educational ecosystem in which academic knowledge, the business community, and international cooperation come together to create new opportunities for students, institutions, and the economy.
