Memorandum of Cooperation Signed with the Firefighting Association of the City of Skopje
4 November 2025Today, International Slavic University and FINRA University Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a Business Cooperation and Partnership Agreement, establishing a long-term framework for academic, scientific, and professional cooperation between the two institutions.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Prof. Dr. Ismet Kalic, President of the Management Board of FINRA University Tuzla. Prof. Dr. Hadzib Salkic, Rector of FINRA University Tuzla, also attended the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, the two institutions commit to jointly implementing activities aimed at advancing higher education and applied research through:
- Organizing professional, scientific, and educational events
- Exchanging students, faculty members, and experts
- Developing specialized training courses and research programs
- Aligning study programs with labor market needs
- Providing supervised student work placements and internships
- Participating in joint projects supported by European funds and the Erasmus+ program
The cooperation also includes the exchange of professional and scientific literature, the promotion of innovative educational methods, and the creation of scholarship and employment opportunities for students following graduation.
The signing of this agreement represents an important step toward strengthening regional academic connections and building bridges among universities in the Western Balkans.
