International Slavic University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Firefighting Association of the City of Skopje, establishing a long-term foundation for academic and professional cooperation between the two institutions.

The Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Petar Plotnikov, President of the Firefighting Association of the City of Skopje. The cooperation aims to improve access to higher education for members of the Association and to facilitate the joint organization of educational, promotional, and socially responsible activities.

The agreement provides Association members with a 10% tuition discount for all undergraduate and graduate study programs, with the possibility of additional benefits up to a maximum discount of 20%, in accordance with the University’s internal policies and eligibility criteria.

The cooperation also includes the development of joint projects and campaigns in the fields of safety and prevention, as well as training sessions, quiz competitions, thematic lectures, and other educational and public activities.

This agreement represents a concrete step toward connecting the academic community with key stakeholders in the protection and rescue system, while creating new opportunities for the personal and professional development of everyone involved.
