Students from International Slavic University are participating in an international academic project organized by “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, Romania. The project is being delivered in a hybrid format that combines in-person and online components. Designed for students of public administration, law, and related fields, the program aims to deepen their understanding of the ethical, institutional, and cultural aspects of local governance in different countries.

The in-person component is taking place from November 24 to 28, 2025, in Alba Iulia and several other locations throughout the region. During this intensive five-day program, students participate in eight hours of daily activities combining theoretical lectures, practical training, and cultural visits.

Through workshops, practical activities, and field visits, participants explore ethics and professional conduct in public administration, the concept of community development, differences between urban and rural governance, and the functioning of local government across various regions and administrative systems. The online component will be held on December 11 and 16, 2025, when student teams from each participating institution will present their projects.

Through this cooperation, International Slavic University students have a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge, establish international academic connections, and broaden their perspectives on public administration and local governance within a European context.
