International Slavic University hosted an important working meeting with representatives of Chinese educational and cultural institutions, further strengthening its strategic commitment to internationalization and expanding its global academic network.

The University welcomed Liao Wei, Director of the Confucius Institute at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and Ljupcho Malenkov, President of the Macedonian-Chinese Friendship and Cooperation Association. The meeting was held in the office of Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, where the participants discussed concrete steps toward establishing institutional cooperation.

The discussions focused primarily on preparing an agreement to introduce Chinese language studies into the University’s academic offerings through the establishment of a dedicated Chinese language program. This initiative was recognized as an important step toward enriching the curriculum and opening new educational opportunities for students.

Through this initiative, International Slavic University reaffirmed its commitment to continually enhancing its academic offerings and creating opportunities that connect students with global educational and economic developments. Introducing Chinese language studies represents a strategic step toward positioning the University as an institution that actively follows global trends and builds bridges for international cooperation.
