Today, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between International Slavic University and the Network of Macedonian Volunteer Fire Associations at the University’s campus in Sveti Nikole. The memorandum was signed by Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board of ISU, and Kiril Mihajlov, President of the Network.

The memorandum establishes a framework for cooperation in education and practical training, particularly in the field of fire safety. Through its active and professionally trained member associations, the Network will provide practical training opportunities for ISU students, with particular emphasis on the Fire Safety study program.

The agreement provides for joint activities, including training sessions, workshops, awareness campaigns, and field exercises aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in protection and rescue. The cooperation also seeks to raise awareness among young people and the wider public about the importance of fire safety.

The memorandum represents an important step toward strengthening practical education and connecting the academic community with relevant institutions and organizations, with the aim of preparing qualified and responsible professionals in the field of safety and security.
