Second-year students from the Faculty of Psychology at International Slavic University, under the mentorship of Professor Gorica Popovska Nalevska, PhD, completed an educational and professionally oriented visit to the “Maca Ovcharova” Elementary School with Resource Center in Veles.

The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn firsthand about the work of the professional support teams, the educational process, and the assistance provided to students with diverse educational and developmental needs. Through direct communication and observation of practical work, they were able to connect their theoretical knowledge with the real challenges and experiences of professional practice.

Activities of this kind are particularly important for future psychologists because they contribute to the development of professional competencies, empathy, inclusive awareness, and an understanding of the importance of a multidisciplinary approach when working with children and young people.

The visit also encouraged further cooperation between higher education and educational institutions, with the shared goal of creating a higher-quality and more supportive environment for every child.
