8 June 2023The International Slavic University is strengthening its European academic mission through Jean Monnet Activities on human rights, creating a space where knowledge of human rights evolves into real experience, dialogue, and practical application. This initiative represents a significant step toward enhancing both academic and societal awareness of European values and the legal mechanisms for their protection.
The program begins on July 10, 2023, with a webinar that will provide a strategic introduction to contemporary challenges and the importance of human rights in a European context. The teaching process continues on July 12, 2023, with a roundtable discussion, which also marks the official start of the lectures. The lectures will be conducted over a period of 20 days, ensuring a continuous and in-depth academic experience for all participants. This process opens space for interaction, exchange of perspectives, and direct engagement in academic debate. On July 17, 2023, a simulation of proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights will take place, where participants will have the opportunity to engage with real-life scenarios and develop practical skills of exceptional importance.
These activities create an environment in which participants are shaped into future leaders, actively involved in the development of European values and standards.
Students, as well as all interested citizens, are invited to take advantage of this opportunity and become part of an initiative that builds knowledge, broadens perspectives, and fosters impact.
Applications are submitted via an online form, and all applicants will receive additional information after registering.
The project is implemented by Prof. Marija Grozdanovska. PhD and Prof. Elizabeta Spiroska, PhD and is supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
The International Slavic University continues to create opportunities for active participation, education, and development, encouraging young people and the wider community toward greater awareness and engagement in the field of human rights.
