On Saturday, 8^th June, 2019, a the Delfina Square in Vlae – Karpos Municipality, in Skopje, the Association Classic Mini celebrated the 60^th birthday of the legendary brand and model Mini.

This event was realized by an exhibition of a great number of older models of Mini Morris in our country, but also newer models that are successors of the original Mini. The official importer of Mini in our country – M-car attended the event and they introduced the new Mini Countryman Plug-in Hybrid.

Beside the entire exhibition, as a surprise made by one of the supporters of this even, the students from the International Slavic University together with the Old timer Club form Sveti Nikole, presented their project on which they worked during the last month.

The visitors were surprised by the green-black Mini, which was made according to a model of the famous series Mr. Bean, in which the green-black Mini was driven by the character Mr. Bean. A really interesting sample that has not remained unnoticed by visitors, especially by the younger generation.

Otherwise, this automobile is of great importance to the world auto industry, and as organizers state “Mini is not just a long-standing brand, but it’s a revolutionary automobile that has completely changed the automobile industry due to its design, practicality and mechanics. That is the reason why it is proclaimed as one of the most popular automobiles of the 20^th century. Although it originates from England, Mini is also popular in many other counties, including the countries on the territory of the former Yugoslavia where this brand has been produced”.
