Study program
Educational psychology

The Educational Psychology study program is designed for students interested in exploring and improving the psychological processes related to learning, development, and the functioning of pupils and students within the educational system.

Students in this program study courses that provide up-to-date knowledge on cognitive, emotional, and social development, learning motivation, psychological support in schools, and methods to enhance educational practices. Mandatory practical training in educational institutions across the Republic of North Macedonia allows students to develop professional skills for working with pupils, parents, and teachers.

The program focuses on advancing knowledge and practical competencies through fieldwork, research projects, and the application of psychological techniques that support learning and development. Educational psychology is a key area of applied psychology, emphasizing the optimization of the educational process and the support of students’ developmental needs.

Applying the knowledge gained in educational psychology contributes to improving learning quality, reducing behavioral difficulties, and fostering a positive educational climate. The goal of this program is to prepare future professionals who will enhance the educational system, support students and teachers, and create healthy, stimulating learning environments.
