Applied Finance focuses on the practical use of financial tools and analyses to make informed decisions in both the business and public sectors. This is a critical area in every organization, where accuracy, analytical skills, and strategic planning are equally valued to ensure financial stability and growth.

Post-graduate studies

Available in Sveti Nikole and Bitola.

In modern organizations, financial management is one of the key factors for successful decision-making and long-term stability. Among all the resources available to an organization, the ability to perform financial analysis, planning, and control is what distinguishes routine operations from strategic growth. Applied Finance is closely connected to all other business functions and provides the foundation for rational management of capital, investments, and risks.

The program will equip you with knowledge of the various activities and functions of financial management—from budgeting, cost monitoring, and resource optimization, to financial statement analysis, cash flow management, and investment decision-making. You will learn how to assess organizational performance using financial indicators, leverage data for better decision-making, and develop strategies for financing and growth.

You will also understand why risk management is essential for every organization, how financial markets and institutions operate, and the role of regulation and ethics in financial practice. The program will develop your skills in using modern financial tools and technologies necessary for today’s dynamic economic environment.

The one-year program includes 7 courses that students are required to complete. From the 8 offered electives, students choose 3.

Upon completion of the program and the preparation of a master’s thesis, you will earn the professional title of Master of Economic Sciences (Applied Finance).
