Finance plays a significant role in the stability of the world economy, which means that they are directly on indirectly connected to all of us. Finance and Banking is a study program for everyone who wants to pursue a career in the area of finance (accounting, banks, investments, etc.). The duration of the study program is four years, or eight semesters.

The courses in this study program will help you understand the essence and the meaning of the basic principles of finance. You will also learn how to recognize the characteristics and the types of various financial instruments, bonds, stocks, savings, loans, financial derivatives, etc. You will learn about the principles of evaluation of financial instruments, and the factors that influence the investors’ decisions for investing their money.

The courses from the area of accounting will enable you to learn the basic techniques of bookkeeping and accounting.



The Finance and Banking study program will help you develop analytical skills, and improve your decision-making skills based on interpretation of given data. There are numerous theories that could assist you in choosing the best financial solutions, but every situation is specific. The theories could help you perceive the situations, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they could be implemented just as they are.

Hence, our study program will help you will develop your “sense” or skills for managing and dealing with situations that are unpredictable. And those skills will be your greatest ally.

The four-year study program includes 40 courses. Each semester is consisted of required and elective courses. When two elective courses are offered, the students can choose only one course. When three elective courses are offered, the student chooses only two. When four elective courses are offered, the student chooses only two.

After the defense of the bachelor’s thesis you will will earn a Bachelor of Economics (Module: Finance and banking) degree and a diploma that will open a wide specter of possibilities for employment and building a successful career.

Enrollment requirements


We can only enroll students who have completed at least four-year secondary education in the Republic of North Macedonia or abroad with passed state, school or international matura exam (matriculation examination) or an equivalent.

Students from other accredited faculties, graduates and foreign citizens (regulated by law) also have the right to enroll.

The admissions process does not include entrance exams at the undergraduate level.

For international students additional documents might be necessary. Documents for applications can be submitted at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzavin” in Sveti Nikole, at the following address “Marshal Tito” No. 77 , and Bitola at the following address “Novachki pat” No. 16.


Tuition fees


Candidates can enroll as full-time or part-time students. The tuition fee per year for international students is EUR 2030. International students pay the whole amount of the yearly tuition fee at the beginning of the academic year.
