Upon finishing the nostrification process and acquiring a nostrification Decision issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, the applicant must furnish the essential documents to the Student Affairs Service of the International Slavic University for enrollment.

In case the candidate has collaborated with the Enrollment Institute for the nostrification procedure, the university would have already received the required documents and will only proceed with the signing of the study contract.

Here’s a list of the documents mandated for enrollment for both the first and second cycle of studies.


Documents for enrollment in the first cycle of studies


  • Nostrification decision;
  • Diploma for completed 4-year secondary education and passed state or international matura exam (with apostille stamp);
    • one copy of the diploma translated by an authorized court translator in the Republic of North Macedonia, notarized
  • Certificates for each completed year;
    • one copy of each certificate translated by an authorized court translator in the Republic of North Macedonia, notarized
  • Citizenship;
    • one copy of the citizenship translated by an authorized court translator in the Republic of North Macedonia, notarized
  • Birth certificate;
    • one copy of the birth certificate translated by an authorized court translator in the Republic of North Macedonia, notarized
  • Agreement for listening to a Macedonian language course (if the study program is in the Macedonian language)
  • Confirmation of payment of tuition and expenses for the Macedonian language course

After receiving all the documents, ISU and the student sign an agreement for studying in the chosen study program. The contract is signed and sent online, and the original is sent to the student if he needs it to prepare for the visa.

    • one copy of the birth certificate translated by an authorized court translator in the Republic of North Macedonia, notarized
  • Agreement for listening to a Macedonian language course (if the study program is in the Macedonian language)
