Study program Software Technologies (3+1+1)
Our Master’s Degree studies for the study program Software Technologies is organized as follows:
- Software Technologies
- Specialist studies (fourth year – 240 ECTS credits)
- Master’s degree (fifth year – 300 ECTS credits)
Considering the basics of the modern computer science and the trends for implementing software solutions in all aspects, the Faculty of Computer Science designed a new study program – Software technologies. The study program provides the students with the necessary resources to acquire extended knowledge and skills and apply them in practice.
Software technologies and its courses would help students deepen and broaden their knowledge in several software disciplines in the field of computer science. During the studies, the students will come to possess both extensive theoretical knowledge and skills for practical application of software technologies, thus contributing to the development of applied computer science in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Specialist studies (fourth year)
Study program: Software Technologies

Degree: no degree is earned during this year
Location: Sveti Nikole or Bitola, Republic of North Macedonia
Duration of study: 1 year (2 semesters)
Condition: have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 180 ECTS
Courses: 8
ECTS of the program: 60
ECTS after completion: 240
Awarded degree: no degree is earned during this year
Tuition fee per year for international students: EUR 2030 (for the fourth year)
The specialist studies consist of two semesters – one year (+60 ECTS). Only students who have graduated with at least 180 ECTS can be enrolled.
Upon completion of the studies, students acquire 240 ECTS and can enroll in the fifth year for a master’s degree.

Master’s degree studies (fifth year)
Study program: Software Technologies

Degree: Master’s degree / graduate / second cycle

Condition: to have at least 240 ECTS

Awarded degree: Master of computer science – Legum Magister LL.M
Tuition fee per year for international students: EUR 2030 (for the fifth year)
The Master’s degree studies consist of two semesters – one year (+60 ECTS). Only students who have earned at least 240 ECTS can be enrolled. Upon completion of the studies and the defense of the Master’s thesis, students are awarded with 300 ECTS credits, and with a Master of computer science degree – Software Technologies (Master of computer science – Legum Magister LL.M).
In the time frame of the one – year study program, the student is obliged to pass 8 courses, that is 4 of each semester.
Additionally, the study program includes practical classes, preparation of a master’s thesis, and finally the defense of a master’s thesis.

Enrollment requirements
We can only enroll students who have graduated with at least 240 ECTS for the fifth year of the study program, or 180 ECTS for the fourth and fifth year of the study program.
The students should prepare all of the required documents, which depend on the country they come from. The international students may need to submit their Bachelor’s degree certificates for nostrification at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia. This should be done at least a month before applying for enrollment at our university.
The admissions process does not include entrance exams at the graduate level.
Required documents for international students
When applying for admission to second cycle, candidates should submit the following documents:
- Certificate (diploma) of graduation/bachelor’s degree;
- Transcript of records;
- Nostrification of the diploma (for international students)
- Birth certificate;
- ID;
- 4 document photos
For international students additional documents might be necessary. Documents for applications can be submitted at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzavin” in Sveti Nikole, at the following address “Marshal Tito” No. 77 , and Bitola at the following address “Novachki pat” No. 16.
Tuition fees
The tuition fee for international students is EUR 2030 for the fourth year, and EUR 2030 for the fifth year. International students pay the whole amount of the yearly tuition fee at the beginning of each academic year.
