Erasmus+ students usually don’t need a visa (depending on the country they come from) if their stay is up to 90 days. You can check on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whether a visa is necessary.

If your stay is longer than 90 days, then as an incoming student you should apply for a visa before entering the Republic of North Macedonia.

Also, please check if you need a PCR test before entering the Republic of North Macedonia.

Visa Application Procedure

For the Visa Application Procedure, the information is available on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The students staying more than 90 days should apply for a Long-Stay Visa.

The incoming students can submit a visa application to the diplomatic-consular representation of the Republic of North Macedonia no longer than six months and at least 15 days before the start of the intended trip.

The visa application is submitted in person. Upon exception, the visa application may be submitted by another natural or legal person authorized to act as the proxy of the applicant when the foreigner is a disabled person or when the foreigner is a well-known person and there is no doubt about his/her bona fide intentions.
