Starting from the basic postulates of the modern legal science and the trend of studying the civil law system at the most renowned law faculties in the world, the Faculty of Law at ISU has introduced a specialized study program in the complex and dynamic filed, which will offer its students the opportunity to acquire expanded professional knowledge and skills, as well as the opportunity to apply their knowledge and the skills.
The study program Civil Law offers the students the opportunity to expand their knowledge regarding the legal regulations in the field of civil law in the legal system of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as to expand their knowledge in several disciplines in the field of civil law in comparative law.
It is expected that the students within this cycle of studies will become professional staff who possess extensive knowledge and skills not only for theoretical but also for practical application of legal regulations in the field of civil law in the legal system of the Republic of North Macedonia, thus they will contribute to the development of the judicial system, the public and state administration, the non-governmental sector, the legal services of the foreign and domestic private companies, etc.
One-year study program • fourth year
This study program is for the students who wish to continue their legal studies and to pursue a career in a specialized filed of law. The study program has offered the students the opportunity to continue their studies at the fourth year, i.e., to earn additional 60 ECTS, and to be awarded with the title Bachelor of Laws.
The study program will last one year (two semesters) and upon completion together with the first cycle of studies and the total 240 ECTS and the defense of the bachelor thesis, the student will be awarded with the title Bachelor of Laws.

We can only enroll students who have completed the three-year general studies and have earned 180 ECTS.
Candidates can enroll as full-time or part-time students. The tuition fee per year for international students is EUR 2030. International students pay the whole amount of the yearly tuition fee at the beginning of the academic year.
