On the study program Human Resource Management you will learn to “make room” for modern management models, which are more flexible, more practical and, of course, more humane. The studies are Master Studies, with a duration of one year (4 + 1) or 60 ECTS credits. The enrollment requirement is that the student has completed a university degree in which he has acquired 240 ECTS.
Human Resource Management can be defined as managing the work and the people in order to achieve the desired results. This is a key part of every organization and here the high performance of the people involved in the organization, as well as its goals, are placed at the same level.
In modern organizations, from all basic resources (raw materials, machines, capital, people), the emphasis is consciously put on people. Human Resource Management is a complex process, closely intertwined with other aspects of business and is a strategic partner in contributing to the realization of the set goals.
The studies will allow you to gain knowledge about the diverse human resource management activities and functions, plan the required number and structure of employees, analyze and shape jobs and job positions, gain, select and deploy employees, and develop the potentials of each employee.
You will know why motivation in the work is important and how it is stimulated, why organizational culture is important and its constant advancement and how the power is deployed in the organization, why there are and how should the political processes in it be organized.
Within the one-year studies, there are 5 courses that students need to pass. Of the 2 elective courses offered, students choose only 1.
In the given table below Un. elective means a university elective course and the same rules apply to the selection of these courses as for standard electives.
Additionally, the teaching includes practical classes, preparation of a master’s thesis, and finally the preparation and defense of a master’s thesis.
Upon completing the studies and preparing the master thesis, you will be awarded with a Мaster of Science degree.
